Do you love to try out new hobbies like playing sports board games?  Then, this blog site is for you.  As a huge sports fan and board game enthusiast, I decided to create this blog site to share one of my biggest passion-- playing sports simulation board games!  I will share with you some of the tips on playing sports board games as well as other popular hobbies.  In addition, I will provide various product/game reviews and story write ups of games that I have played.

Currently, my favorite sports board games are from PLAAY.com, created by Keith Avallone.  There are a lot of great games from PLAAY.com, but two of my favorite games that I enjoy playing the most are Lacrosse Blast and Soccer Blast.   I am a huge fan of his games, and I've even created fictional teams and leagues using the fictional sets from these two fantastic games!  In fact, I have so much fun with these games that I also wrote game results on the PLAAY.com Delphi Forum (the Pacific Atlantic Lacrosse League and the  Global Alliance Soccer).  I will go into more detail on a later blog post as to why PLAAY.com games are unique and why I think it is definitely one of the best sports simulation board games on the market today.

I will continue to post my games results at the PLAAY.com Delphi Forum AND on this blog.  My plan is to have a summary of the "broadcast version" of the games results on the forum and post more details of my game results on this blog.

Box or Indoor Lacrosse For those that may not be familiar with indoor lacrosse (also commonly called box lacrosse), or lacrosse in general, there are essentially two professional lacrosse leagues in North America.  The Major Lacrosse League, which is an outdoor lacrosse league, and the National Lacrosse League is the indoor lacrosse league.  A while back, there was the San Francisco Dragons of the MLL and the San Jose Stealth in the NLL , but unfortunately, both teams are now defunct, with the Stealth now currently playing as the Vancouver Stealth in the NLL.  For me, I prefer watching the indoor lacrosse game. My First Sports Board Game My journey into sports board game started when I was a young kid, I received a football board game for Christmas called " All-American Football Game"   by Cadaco.  Although I knew that this game was a 'vintage' football game and that it was a college game (I noticed, for example, that the picture on the cover showed players wearing the old style Roger Staubach-type facemask instead of the kind that Joe Montana would wear, and that the rule book stated that the kick-off was from the forty yard line),  I didn't mind, however, because American football, whether it was college or professional, was my favorite sport, and I was eager to just start playing and creating my own fictional football season!
